Just got a notice from WordPress HQ that my blog has had 10,000 views! Wow!

Of course if that stat was for last month (or last week!!!), that would be remarkable. However I started this blog about ten years ago so 10k is a quite modest achievement.

But given that I am, or was, just a kid from Queens, who has matured somewhat here in Wisconsin, it’s humbling to know that thousands have visited this site, and that some of them did not click past it, but stayed to read one or more of my 250 or so posts. And a few of those who stopped to read actually went further and bought my book!

“Words, they are powerful …” so states the title heading on my home page. To the extent that any of my words have been a blessing to any one of those ten thousand viewers I am grateful to God for the opportunity to be a vessel for the blessing.

Whether or not I reach another 10k viewers doesn’t matter as much as having one more individual being blessed by what they read here. I just want people to know what life looks like to this ordinary Christian man, for them to see His power at work in all of my life. God has saved me, both in the salvation sense and in the sense of dangerous circumstances, and He has forgiven (and continues to forgive) this clueless kid from Queens. The life I now live and write about, I live in Jesus my savior. To the triune God be all the glory.!
