Some of you already know that ten days ago I went to the ER suffering with chest pain. Turns out five of the vessels supplying blood to my heart were blocked. Last Wednesday I underwent quintuple bypass surgery which went very well and on Sunday I returned home. As I said to many who treated me, my life is in God’s hands, and you are His fingers. Equally important are the many prayers offered on behalf of me and my family. Recovery is happening day by day. When the visiting nurse asked me today about my goal, I said I wanted to be on the golf course with my friends when the course open in late April.
Of course there are things way more important than that. With God’s help, the support of my family and the prayers of the saints, I shall be well again. God is always and only good, so whether here on earth or at home in heaven, I shall in deed be well.
Bob, great news! 🙏

Sorry to hear of your health problems, Robert. Thankfully, our bodies are in the hands of the Great Physician and Healer. Praying you have a full and fast recovery–and can get back on the golf course (and writing, too!) soon.

Wow, quintuple bypass. I hadn’t even realized there was such a thing. At any rate, I’m so glad it went well, my friend❣ Praying for a perfect pre-golf recovery. 🙏

Maybe it was one of those, “Buy four, get five while they last!” deals.
