Today the mail brought me a great gift, a new book, “Leora’s Dexter Stories” by Joy Neal Kidney. I’ve read it online as a beta reader, but now I’ll get to enjoy it again the way it should be read, in a bound book in my lap, a reading light over my shoulder while seated in a comfortable chair, with a cup of coffee on the side table (or glass of wine if it’s evening), and in a quiet place so that the story can envelope me.

This book is a great story of one family’s journey through hard times. It is straightforward, no frills storytelling at it’s finest, and it’s all true. Do yourself a favor, buy this book. Now let me get to reading.
